Hotel Conca D'Oro (via Boscariello, 16 - 84017 - Positano (SA)
The Hotel Conca D'Oro was established in 1949 from an idea of Giovanni Cappiello, in an ancient villa set in the middle of a beautiful garden full of orange and lemon trees that still surround the hotel today. The hotel is well kept and has been recently refurbished. This is truly a family run hotel even his managers are his progeny, who have been taught well by Giovanni Cappiello, keeping in with traditions, enthusiasm and passion, they continue to welcome their guests offering kindness and warmth, that you can find only in a family hotel. The terrace restaurant, dominates the enchanting area where one can admire the marvelous panoramic view of Positano, serving typical dishes of the area. The hotel has a nice sun terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas and a mini Jacuzzi pool. Within 200 mt guests can find many shops and amusements. They have discount prices for sunbeds & umbrellas on the little beach at Fornillo that is a 15 miniute walk down (via steps) from the hotel. There is a bus service at 100 m. from the hotel that can take you down to the main part of the town and beach. The hotel can organize transfers from & to Naples airport or train station & excursion to Capri, Amalfi, Emeraldo - Grotto, Pompei etc. Positano is a village full of activity and life and is also a good location to start your days excursions. This picturesque village with houses, one on top of the other, the narrow streets – with the numberless boutiques – descends rapidly between the houses, like floods through the rocky mountain passes, and they all flow out on the main beach “ Spiaggia Grande”. From there it may be the only place where the view behind your shoulders above the village is more beautiful than the view over the sea in front of you. The other small beaches in Positano are Fornillo and Remese to the west and La Porta, Fiumicello, Arienzo and Laurito to the east. Positano is not only beaches, some other pleasant excursions are those up to the Lattari mountains above the village. After 3 km you will find the village of Montepertuso and Nocelle. From here begins the famous pathway “Sentiero degli Dei”, Pathway of the Gods, with fantastic panoramic views that are unique and unforgettable over the whole coast. You can also decide to climb even higher up to one of the mountains of Sant’Angelo a Tre Pizzi, which forms the highest summits on the peninsula, they reach over 1400 meters. During the summer boats leave from the Positano beach to Capri, Ischia, Naples and Salerno. Baby discount to 4 years old 60%, to 6 years old 30% , over 6 years, 10% discount for the 3rd & 4th bed. Double for Single use will imply a supplement.

The rooms are divided into double standard
(Junior) room and double superior and are all furnished according
to the local Mediterranean style. All have ensuite bathroom decorated
with local majolica tiles with bath or shower. All rooms have a wonderful
sea view, with balcony or solarium terrace

hotel is located in Positano, it is situated on a cliff connected
with the beach and the village via steps (about 100).

Hotel Conca D'Oro's Cancellation Policy: A one night stay is chargeable to the guest for any cancellation after 7 nights prior the arrival date or a "No show".
How to reach Hotel Conca D'Oro:
From
Train Station:
The most convenient railway station in
Naples is that of Napoli Centrale, at Piazza Garibaldi, where on a
lower level you can get a Circumvesuviana local train to Sorrento;
buses for Positano leave from the square in front of Circumvesuviana
station at Sorrento.
From
Airport :
If you arrive at Naples Capodichino airport,
take a taxi or bus to Circumvesuviana station, as above.
By
Car:
From the North:
Take the motorway "A1" to Naples and then the A3 to Salerno,
take the exit "Castellammare di Stabia" (immediatly after
Pompei exit); from there, follow the signs for Positano. When arriving
to Positano follow the one way road on your right hand side leading
down towards the center. After about 700mt you will find on your left
hand side Parking Milano.Here you can park your car (on payment) and
they have a porter who will help you with the luggage to the hotel.
From the South:
Take either route SS.163 Amalfitana or the Salerno Naples motorway
to Castellammare di Stabia, as above.
From Sorrento:
Catch the Sita bus to Positano (Chiesa Nuova).
From there take the orange bus (Interno Positano) and ask to the driver
Hotel Conca D'Oro bus stop. If you call the hotel in advance, the
porter will help you with the luggages.
