Hotel Rivoli was once an old Franciscan convent dating back to the 15th Century, which has now been restored to its unique splendour. Throughout the hotel the classic ceilings, cross vaults, stone arches and pillars all add to its character. The style and charm of the public areas combine perfectly with the elegant and modern rooms, of which the majority faces on to the patio and internal garden and where guests can enjoy the large whirlpool Jacuzzi heated to a temperature of 35°c all year round. The internal garden and patio of the hotel has been completely restructured maintaining all the characteristics of the Franciscan convent. It is the perfect location to sit, relax and socialise after an adventurous day of sightseeing. Next to the patio is the garden area that displays flowers and plants, which create an oasis of tranquillity in the centre of the city.

What was once the Franciscan refectory is now the breakfast room and reflects the style of the hotel with its warm and inviting decor. During the summer the breakfast can also be served in the garden.

Hotel Rivoli's Cancellation Policy: Accepted up to 48 hours before the arrival without charge, cancellations received within the 48 hours before arrival will be charged for a 1 night fee. "No Show" will be charged the entire amount of the reserved nights.

How to reach Hotel Rivoli:

From Train Station:
Arriving at the central station of Santa Maria Novella, you can easily reach the hotel on foot. Exit the station to the right side, at the foot of the steps cross over the pedestrian crossing and turn left, continue in Via Santa Caterina di Siena until reaching the traffic lights, turn left into Via della Scala, the hotel is situated approximately 100 metres from the traffic lights on the right had side.

From Amerigo Vespucci Airport – Florence
Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci is located 5km from the city centre and the Hotel Rivoli, Taxis are available or bus No 62 leaves from the airport terminal to the city centre. Alternatively we are able to reserve a private transfer.

By Car:
Whether travelling from north or south, we recommend exiting the A1 motorway at “Firenze – Scandicci Exit”: After the toll gates follow the signs for the city centre, Continue towards the bridge Ponte alla Vittoria, cross the river following signs for the railway station. Once in front of the railway station, leaving the station on your left continue to the right into Via Santa Caterina da Siena, at the traffic lights turn left into Via della Scala, the Hotel Rivoli is situated at 100 metres on the right hand side of the road.

The centre of Florence permits access by car and parking for residents only. Tourists are allowed
access by car to reach their hotels, upon registration of your license plate by hotel reception staff.
Please provide this information on your arrival at the hotel.. The hotel Rivoli provides a valet parking service.
